Thin Wall Technology
Thin Wall Technology is the process employed to modify the enCOUNTER mix to adapt to flowing into the pre-cast sink molds and to conforming to each of the grooves in the enVISIONS casting mat designs. The products used in the Thin Wall processes are enFLOW, Air Minus and for panels and larger vanity and island countertops the enFORCE structural fiber.
ENFLOW
enFLOW is a superplasticizer that makes enCOUNTER more flowable while increasing its strength. The normal mixing water content is reduced about 25% by using one ounce of enFLOW per bag. The result is a strength gain of about 25%. For directions on how to use enFLOW go to Technical Data or just click here. Also check out the Technical Data on Thin Wall Technology.
ENFORCE
enFORCE is a structural fiber added to the enCOUNTER mix that allows ½” to ¾” sheets of modified enCOUNTER mix to cast panels of 4’ X 8’.
AIR MINUS
Air Minus offsets the bubbles created by the addition of enFLOW to the mix so that the finished casting is smooth and appears to have a polished appearance.
